About the Network:

The Association of European Energy and Climate Lawyers (AEEC Lawyers) is an association of pre-eminent energy law specialists based in the European Union and beyond. Founded in 2000, the AEEC is headquartered in Berlin and represented by a Board of Directors. The AEEC members are considered to be among the leading energy law firms in their home countries with additional expertise in associated areas including, among others, regulatory law, competition law, utilities law, communications law and environmental law. The member firms are currently based in twenty-one different EU Member States (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom) as well as in several non-EU Member States (Albania, Norway, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine).


The AEEC Lawyers is a unique organisation that advises companies, governmental institutions and various associations on all questions of European energy and infrastructure law. This also includes market-entry and cross-border consulting as well as advice and assistance in the context of multinational activities. The AEEC offers its clients a full-service approach.
